It seemed like the virus only belongs to China and will affect the trade related to world’s 2nd largest economy, but it became much more than that like an avalanche across the globe. Nearly 3,000 people are dead and more than 86,000 has been infected. Covid-19 has spread to 58 countries.
The US State Department and The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have issued a travel warning guideline to avoid travelling to China, South Korea, Italy, Iran, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam. Even CDC didn’t add to the list, here are the other countries which have reported cases of the coronavirus: Afghanistan, Algeria, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Iceland, India, Iraq, Israel, Kuwait, Lebanon, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, Romania, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America.

Here is the list: Mobile World Congress, Facebook’s Global Marketing Summit, Milan Furniture Fair, Global fashion weeks, The Dalai Lama’s engagements, Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix, Six Nations Rugby match, Stormzy and Green Day’s Asia tours, European carnivals (Nice, France; Venice, Italy), China’s National People’s Congress, Religious pilgrimages in Saudi Arabia, Facebook’s annual F8 Developers Conference (California, USA), BTS concerts (South Korea), Geneva Motor Show and Baselworld, Japan’s Azalea Festival, ASEAN Meeting (Las Vegas, USA), Game Developers Conference (San Francisco, USA). Additionally, The International Olympic Committee suggested the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020 could be canceled if the disease is not contained by the end of May.
Until now, Turkey performed an effective and successful role and took all precautions against coronavirus. Turkey shuts border with Iran over coronavirus outbreak. On high alert, Turkey took all suspicious passengers under quarantine over coronavirus concerns. And yet, no confirmed coronavirus case so far in Turkey. It seems like, Turkey is one of the safest country to travel across the globe for now. Also, as one of the most popular tourist destination, It seems likely that Turkey will be preferred higher for the culture and summer holiday travelers after the increasing coronavirus cases in other popular countries which are Italy, Greece and Spain.
