One of the world’s largest yachts in the world, Katara, which has an estimated value of USD 400 million, arrived to Bodrum, Turkey. Katara is owned by Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani (Emir of Qatar), who is the youngest sovereign in the world.

It’s been prepared for the royal family’s vacation in Bodrum. The family also arrived to Bodrum Airport BJV by their private jumbo jet. The airport transfers from the airport to the yacht was completed with police escorts and security guards.

Katara has a helipad and two life rafts on her upper decks, it is speculated that the yacht has a two-deck-high main salon on her aft. Katara flies under the Qatari flag and her home port is Doha. She can accommodate up to 34 people with 95 crew members.
