The 2020 model of the Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 is leading the way in five-door sports utility vehicles.
The German powered SUV has taken on some major upgrades and is the third of its kind for Mercedes. It is really bigger, meaner, and made for all.
Word has it the creators were keen to improve its offroad
capabilities. The look of the GLS has slight changes, giving it a
similar look to the new GLE.
It’s mostly the interior and ride-ability, that has improved and changed from its predecessor.
The big boy is fitted with Mercedes’ new e-tech and is fitted with a “mild hybrid systems”. With this, the GLS 450 comes in two ranges, the inline-6 and V8.
Mercedes-Benz has made a number of changes to their family edition GLS 450 in the 2020 model. The word family and the name Mercedes seem to be getting along better!
More is more when it comes to SUV’s these days. Before there would be a handful of brands who bothered with what was known as the “family car”, now we have all manufacturers in on the game.
Here are some photos of 2020 model Mercedes-Benz GLS.

Modern handcraftsmanship is shown with single and dual veneer wood options paired with fluted leather seating or, alternatively, unique mulliner driving specification diamond quilting on the seats and leather door inserts. the console combines digital with analogue technology to showcase Bentley’s infusion of updated traditions. for example, a HD digital instrument panel display and rotating center console with a choice of a 12.3-inch touchscreen is equipped with analogue dials.
Mated to a dual-clutch eight-speed transmission, the 6.0-liter turbocharged W 12 engine delivers 626 bhp and 600 Nm of torque. This races the car from 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds and to a top speed of 207 mph. An advanced aluminum and composite chassis, electronic all-wheel steering, active all-wheel drive and bentley dynamic ride ensures the ‘Flying Spur’ handles with precision. this performance is matched with a limousine-style comfort thanks to the new three-chamber air springs.
In the modern arena of the corporate and business affairs, time and image are paramount for success. The corporate visits and business trips often consist of the hustling crowd of the city. Starting from the airport, the commute never remains comfortable, thus a comfortable and reliable service is always sought. Limousine corporate services are the best suited for corporate trips. The reliable services, high comfort, and equally professional rental services in affordable price range make it the best possible option. There are different reasons behind selecting corporate limousines and here are the five top reasons for opting limo rental.
Reliability
Punctuality is of paramount importance for business and no one really wants to compromise on that when on a corporate visit. Corporate limos can be very effective in that aspect. It starts with the airport pick up and cover the entire business trip. The trip ends with the Airport drop on time. The reliability of services is not only about time punctuality but also about the professional attitude. Limo rented from highly reputed services provide highly skilled and professional drivers. So there is no concern about receiving the guests on the airport and reaching the venue on time.
Services
A reputed Limo rental services know the services required for limo corporate services. The services like free wi-fi and projectors can be arranged in the limo. The best part is that one can go through the important points of the meeting before reaching the venue. A comfortable ride on the limo can help to overcome the jet lag as well. The corporate house that hires the limo rental may ask for the specific services required for the executives and expect the immaculate services.
Image and Persona
Image, persona, and style are a few of the things that make or break the situation for an executive in a corporate meeting or business trip. A ride in limo to the office can definitely make things better. It is often said that the first impression is the last impression and the limo services can help to create the lasting first impression. A royal and stylish entry solves half of the business puzzle and the executive can do the rest with his/her skills.
Comfort and Convenience
Comfort is definitely one of the crucial aspects of hiring limo services during the business trip. No executive would want a bumpy and tiresome day at the business especially when they have come for something big. Limo does not only provide a comfortable ride but also special services like cool beverages. Even during the peak hours of the city traffic, a Limo ride can be perfect. For example when traveling to Istanbul, renting a limousine from Illusthrone provided the drinks, wifi, arranged the music for the occasion and provided the trip itinerary based on a tour of Istanbul.
Price
Even though the business houses are not very skeptical about shelling out a decent amount for a successful business trip, but economic challenges always remain part of the discussion. Limo rental services are generally very affordable for the business trips depending on the size and services required.
A corporate executive deserves a comfortable and pleasant business trip. Renting a limo will always give an edge to the executives to deliver the best on the trip.

The 53rd International Paris Airshow is being held at Le Bourget Airport on the outskirts of Paris this week. The show is one of the oldest and largest aviation air shows in the world.
On display will
be the newest technologies of the aerospace industry and related
equipment, such as aircraft engines, satellite navigation technology,
aircraft cabins and seats and weapon systems.
Around 150 military and civil aircraft will be presented at the trade show which last for five days, including a number of flying displays in the afternoon.
The exhibition is accompanied by an extensive B2B meeting program. In 2017 around 2380 exhibitors were at the show from 48 countries.
The show is expected to attract more than 300,000 visitors.
Hot topics for this year’s show include Boeing’s response to the grounding of its 373 Max programme following two fatal crashes.
The European plane-maker Airbus has kicked off the 2019 International Paris Air Show with the launch of a long-range, single-aisle airliner and an announcement that they have agreed to sell 100 planes to the U.S. plane lessor Air Lease Corporation.
The Los Angeles based aircraft leasing company, has agreed 27 firm orders of the new Airbus A321XLR, 23 Airbus A321neos and 50 A220-300s.
Air Lease Corporation, founded from scratch in 2010, now has 387 Airbus aircraft and is the European plane maker’s third largest leasing customer.
At the same conference, Airbus unveiled details of its A321XLR – the latest evolution of the company’s hugely successful A320 series.
At a press conference Monday, Airbus claimed the plane now
boasted the longest single-aisle plane range in the world at 4,700
nautical miles. The plane can take 244 passengers but on a long-range
trip, the number of seats would reduce to about 200.
Airbus said
the routes would now open up to operators who had an interest in flying
routes such as India to Europe or China to Australia.
The chief commercial officer for Airbus, Christian Scherer, said the new plane would come with a newly designed fuel tank that could carry nearly as much fuel as a bigger twin-aisle plane.
No catalog price was offered for the plane but Scherer added that it had a “health commercial premium” over earlier versions.
The latest version of the XLR is entering an area of the market that the industry expected rival Boeing to address with the announcement of the NMA (New Midsize Aircraft), known alternatively as the 797.
Earlier Monday, Boeing poured cold water on any new plane announcement of its own but said it could “continue to work on the business case of the NMA.”

Professional drone racing pilot and content creator Johnny Schaer aka ‘JohnnyFPV’ partnered with Beautiful Destinations and Tom Jauncey for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. His latest project is not only a piece of cinematic art but is also an example of his unmatched technical ability to fly drones. After collaborating with other social media influencers, Johnny was asked by one of Instagram’s largest accounts, Beautiful Destinations, and its founder Tom Jauncey to collaborate on a project. Combined, the three social media accounts reach over 12.9 million people. Johnny and the Beautiful Destinations team traveled to Cappadocia, Turkey to film. Cappadocia is often filmed by influencers and camera drone pilots but rarely by FPV drones. The film features the region’s most recognizable visuals: hot air balloons, the ‘fairy tale’ rock formations, wild horses, and stone-built towns. While on the trip they experienced high temps, snow, and rain, giving the film the impression it was filmed over months, not just a few days. Johnny says the trip was his “craziest FPV experience” to date.

A transportation company is betting its sleek new hydrogen-powered electric flying vehicles will someday serve as taxis, cargo carriers and ambulances of the sky, but experts say they will have to clear a number of regulatory hurdles before being approved for takeoff years in the future.
With six rotors on the roof and seats inside for five people, a passenger model of the Skai (pronounced “sky”) unveiled Wednesday near Los Angeles resembles an oversized drone crossed with a luxury SUV.
Like a drone, the vehicle from Alaka’i Technologies takes off and lands vertically. It’s one of many similar electric flying crafts in production, including prototypes from Boeing and Airbus that made successful test flights this year, according to Vertical Flight Society, an industry group.
Most are powered by batteries, which can add a lot of weight. The Skai instead uses very light hydrogen fuel cells to run its rotors, giving it a range of 400 miles and the capacity to carry 1,000 pounds in people or freight, the company says.
“We just couldn’t get to the point where we could have enough batteries to get to the payload that we knew we needed,” CEO Stephan Hanvey said of the choice to switch to hydrogen power.
Alaka’i says it’s planning a test flight near its Massachusetts headquarters.
It would be flown by an on-board pilot using a pair of joysticks, but the technology exists to eventually fly it remotely and even autonomously, Hanvey said.
Dronelike vehicles such as the Skai must first simply prove their airworthiness, like any common plane, Lightfoot said. After that, getting commercial certification is another convoluted process, he said.
“The technology is interesting, but the regulatory road will be very long,” said Lightfoot, adding that the idea of allowing people to fly in a large aircraft without a pilot is “well outside the current regulatory regime.”

The number of arrivals from China to the US fell last year for the first time in 15 years. The Chinese are the world’s highest-spending foreign visitors and their tourism dollar is sorely missed.
The United States has fast grown addicted to the $36.2 billion (€32
billion) in annual tourism receipts from Chinese visitors, a figure that
has grown more than 15-fold since the turn of the century.
Last
year, however, the number of Chinese tourists to the US fell sharply for
the first time since 2003, in part due to a slowdown of the world’s
second largest economy, but more-so, because of the worsening trade spat
between Beijing and Washington.
Figures from the US National Travel and Tourism Office showed a 5.5% drop in arrivals from China in 2018, and industry analysts say the decline appears to be deepening this year.
US tourism chiefs had predicted that growth in tourism from China would continue past 2022, but the threat of tit-for-tat tariffs on imports, along with the US embargo on the tech giant Huawei, appears to have put paid to that.
Chinese still traveling
By contrast, more than 100 million mainland Chinese travelled abroad last year — a record number, according to the China National Tourism Administration. But the majority of them picked other Asian destinations, while those who did venture further abroad, chose Europe.
The impact of the drop in arrivals is likely to be felt throughout the US economy. American companies have put considerable resources into becoming China-friendly, especially as Chinese tourists spend an average of $5,900 per trip — about half more than visitors from other countries. Although the Chinese have gained a reputation for boorish behavior on foreign trips while being transported to the usual tourist traps in large tour groups, the stereotype is increasingly inaccurate.
China is now one of the world’s wealthiest countries, and many of its citizens have substantial travel budgets to splash on luxury transportation, accommodation, and fine dining.
