Charlie Watts’ spokeperson announced that “It is with immense sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Charlie Watts. He passed away peacefully in a London hospital earlier [Tuesday] surrounded by his family.”
Several weeks before, it was declared that Charlie Watts would not be able to perform on The Rolling Stones No Filter Tour.
Even Charlie Watts was owning a V-12 engined 1937 Lagonda Rapide and the band has a song called “Black Limousine”, he never had a driving licence and drove his classic cars.
